SHC Community Carols 2024

South Hill Centre (SHC) hosted its fourth annual Christmas Community Carol event on Sunday 22 Dec 2024.

A mix of traditional and modern carols were sung throughout the event.

The event was supported by the Jupiter Choir, South Hill Church Community Choir, a guest Ukrainian Choir and the Maranatha Church Romanian choir. The latter two bringing traditional songs in their native languages.

A team from Octavius and Barao Construction covered the cost and manned the closure of the road for the event, whilst over 200 local people gathered to enjoy the free mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate being offered to all who attended.

Thanks go to the local Herts County Councillor, Adrian England and the HCC Festive Grants Programme who between them covered the costs of the choirs and refreshments to enable the event to go ahead.
