    Please note:
South Hill Centre and all members do not offer advice or guidance. Everyone is encouraged to express their own opinions which hopefully are based on research, experience and peer review. • Pathway Mentoring & Support for Ex-Offenders +

Working with the Charity 'Clean Sheet', a small team at SHC befriend, provide support to ex-offenders in resettlement and offer ongoing mentoring.  The prisoner receives regular visits in the weeks prior to their release from prison, and will be met at the gate on the day of release.  We help the ex-offender plan for a better future and expect change in their lifestyle and decision-making as they work towards their goals.

SHC works closely with Cornergate Foundation (https://cornergate.org/partners) and Clean Sheet to deliver focussed support and training in the local HMP The Mount to establish initial relationships with offenders before release.

Each ex-offender understands that they are the ones who can make the changes necessary to put crime behind them and lead a settled, law-abiding life.  We offer support and guidance towards welfare, health and in tackling dependency on drugs or alcohol, working with associated agencies and towards training or employment opportunities.
